DAY 01    |

Arrive Queenstown – TeAnau

Welcome to P I Journey’s – Best of New Zealand’ tour!

On arrival in Queenstown, you will be met by our representative. Post customs and immigration, transfer to your hotel in TeAnau and check-in (after 1400 hours).

The picturesque township of TeAnau is the main visitor base for the glacier-carved wilderness that is Fiordland National Park.

The rest of the day is at leisure for individual activities.

DAY 02    |

TeAnau – Queenstown

Today, enjoy Milford Sound cruise.

Explore the scenic surroundings. Situated within Fiordland National Park, part of TeWahipounamu World Heritage site, lies New Zealand’s most stunning natural attraction – Milford Sound. It is the best known of all the Fiords in New Zealand. Cruise amidst beautiful scenery up to Tasman Sea (weather permitting). You may spot seals or dolphins.

Later, proceed to Queenstown and check-in at your hotel.

DAY 03    |

Queenstown

Discover the beauty of Queenstown on a city tour. Walk through historic Arrowtown, view the Arrow River, the magnificent Lake Hayes in Wakatipu basin, renowned for its scenic beauty, AJ Hackett Bungy Bridge, and Edith Cawell Bridge.

Also enjoy a gondola ride to Bob’s Peak for stunning views.

The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

DAY 04    |

Queenstown – Christchurch

Today, proceed to Christchurch.

En route, enjoy a photo-stop at Mt. Cook view point near Lake Tekapo and drive through scenic Lindis Pass and Canterbury region. Enjoy the view of Church of Good Shepherd and Sheep Dog monument.

Arrive Christchurch and proceed on an orientation city tour visiting Mona Vale gardens, Cathedral, Christchurch Museum and Art Centre, Avon River, and the Bridge of Remembrance.

Continue to your hotel and check-in.

The rest of the day is at leisure for individual activities.

DAY 05    |

Christchurch – Auckland – Rotorua/Hamilton

Today, proceed to the airport for your flight to Auckland.

On arrival, transfer to the hotel in Rotorua/Hamilton. En route, visit the Hamilton Gardens. The themed garden collections explore different civilizations and recreates historically important garden styles throughout history.

Rotorua/Hamilton

Today, visit the Agrodome and watch sheep shearing at a Farm Show. View amazing native dogs and cows and get a feel of a real New Zealand farm.

You may opt for activities at Agroventures (at your own expense). Experience thrills while taking a ride on Agrojet, New Zealand’s fastest Jet Boat ride. Enjoy Swoop and Freefall Xtreme. You can also race and pedal on the Shweeb.

Later, visit TePuia thermal geysers. Rotorua’s best-known reserve of thermal springs, where boiling mud pools and roaring geysers greet you. You can opt to visit the Polynesian Spa. At TePuia, you can see Kiwi, the native New Zealand bird very closely. Meet the local Maori people at a Maori village. Be greeted by a powhiri (‘poor-fee-dee’), which is a traditional Maori welcoming ceremony.

Rotorua/Hamilton – Auckland

Today, proceed to Waikato region and enjoy a guided Glowworm caves tour.

On the tour of the caves, the friendly guides will point out the highlights and share their knowledge of the caves and its history. This underground world is astonishingly beautiful. Pass through limestone passages filled with sculpted rock. Deep inside the caves, beyond the roar of the water, you will be taken by small boat into a silent hidden Glowworm Grotto inhabited by thousands of glowworms, unique to New Zealand. In the subterranean darkness, they produce a glittering display

Later, enjoy viewing famous landmarks and harbor during an orientation tour. The landmarks like the War Memorial Museum and the Viaduct Harbor will fascinate you. View Mission Bay, Tamaki Drive, Michel Josef Savage Memorial, Queen Street & K Road. Auckland’s harbors are filled with yachts – a very popular place in the world for sailors! Enjoy spectacular views from the Observation Deck at the Sky Tower; the tallest structure in the southern hemisphere.
